Past

One-Act Play

As per the playwright's request, this project required a thorough revision of plot, pacing, character, and dialogue, as well as the usual editing and proofreading. I began by commenting on the raw work in Celtx, then sent my suggestions to the playwright for review. I have worked closely with the author to discuss all potential changes for the work and will fine-tune the language and mechanics upon submission of the final draft.

The Ripple: Promotional Magazine for Leaders for Life International.

This beautiful promotional publication was written by attendees and alumni of Leaders for Life International, a teen leadership program based in New York and Colorado. When editing these personal essays, it was essential to preserve each writer's unique tone, and I took the time to work closely with authors to develop their own storytelling voices.

The Sycamore: Wells College's Student General Interest Magazine.

The Sycamore is a project that is very close to my heart. My dear friend Alex Schloop and I founded our alma mater's general interest magazine while I was in my sophomore year of college, and for the following six semesters, editing this publication was my life. I met individually with student authors to develop their well-researched pieces and refine their style and mechanics, always staying true to our publication's personal style guide and layout.
